Fiona Garbett

Biography

With a lifelong dedication to dance beginning at the age of three, training in ballet, tap, ballroom and Latin quickly developed into a competitive career by five. 

Fiona is a fully qualified teacher across a wide spectrum of disciplines—including Ballroom and Latin, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Freestyle, Street, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Cheer and Acrobatic Arts. Fiona combines technical expertise with industry experience. In 2010, she founded her own dance school, producing competitive dancers who have achieved success at both European and World level, including UDO finalists and champions. 

As an IDTA-trained educator, she has developed scholarship students and continues to contribute to the wider dance community as both an ADFP Championship Adjudicator and Ballroom & Latin Adjudicator.

Performance Credits

Early highlights included performing alongside Maurice Chevalier and demonstrating at ISTD Congresses and lectures, laying the foundation for an extensive performance career across promotional events, cruise ships and national stages. 

Her theatre and screen work includes Oliver!, reaching the final 25 auditionees for Annie (film), and appearances in television productions such as Last of the Summer Wine.
